The textile workshop’s iconic spindles represent the collective memories of textile workers, inspiring a new interpretation using wind-driven, spindle-shaped kinetic metal scales. These scales spin with the breeze, creating a facade resembling undulating silk or rippling water, evoking memories of the textile factory. At night, LED lights illuminate the structure, complementing Nanhu Lake’s scenery. Internally, the water tower’s original pipes are repurposed for rainwater collection, promoting sustainable water use for landscape irrigation
